Organic herb: "Mugwort (annua)"
Artemisia, known as mugwort, was already considered one of the most important medicinal plants for women by the ancient Greeks and was also known as the "mother of all herbs." It contains many valuable ingredients such as bitter substances, flavonoids, essential oils, and inulin. During menstruation, mugwort helps alleviate lower abdominal pain due to its relaxing properties.
Organic herb: "Silverweed"
Silverweed (Potentilla anserina) primarily contains tannins and flavonoids as active ingredients, which have an astringent effect on tissues. Additionally, it is believed to have anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic properties. Consistent with its colloquial name "spasm herb", silverweed is used in herbal medicine for relieving spasmodic lower abdominal pain during menstruation.
Organic herb: "Yarrow!
Essential oils, bitter substances, and tannins have made yarrow a highly regarded home remedy for millennia. The plant is mentioned in ancient writings and described as having wound-healing properties. Many heroes used yarrow compresses to care for and heal their wounds. Azulene is a component of the essential oil and has disinfectant and anti-inflammatory properties. The best-known properties of yarrow's constituents are its antispasmodic and toning effects, which are still used today for relieving menstrual cramps. Yarrow's bitter substances also have appetite-stimulating and digestive-promoting effects.
Organic herb: "Marjoram"
Marjoram is not only popular in the kitchen but has also gained a high value in traditional medicine due to its ingredients such as essential oils, flavonoids, tannins, bitter substances, glycosides, and ascorbic acid. It is especially appreciated in traditional medicine for its antispasmodic effect.
Organic herb: "Thyme"
Thyme contains many essential oils and flavonoids. These substances have antibacterial, disinfectant, antispasmodic, mucolytic, hemostatic, and anti-inflammatory properties. Flavonoids have a similar effect to estrogen and support the regulation of the female cycle.
Natural Beeswax
To ensure that creams based on oil do not run through the fingers and achieve the right consistency, we use the highest quality beeswax, Cera Alba Ph. EUR. This pure and unadulterated beeswax comes from 100% EU production and represents the highest quality without compromise. Only beeswaxes in accordance with DAB and cosmetic standards that do not contain additions of paraffins, stearins, or fats and also meet the requirements of the European Pharmacopoeia (Ph. EUR.) may be referred to as "CERA ALBA Ph. EUR."
Natural Olive oil
Unlike many other organic olive oils, our olive oil carries the Ph. Eur. designation, which distinguishes it with extensive analyses performed after pressing. It is then stored in a light-protected and nitrogen-sealed environment. All production steps and analyses comply with the strict requirements of the Pharmacopoeia Europaea (Ph. EUR.), ensuring the highest quality of our extra virgin olive oil from controlled organic farming (kbA) Ph. EUR.
